Tropical Storm Isaac

We're in Broward County, Florida. We're going to feel some strong effects of Isaac, which means I'm staying put in our apartment all day today and possibly tomorrow. Can you say "cabin fever"?! We have DirecTV, which I don't like but we have no choice because it's what our apartment building has. Of course that means when it's stormy out, we lose the satellite signal... grrrrr... I'm hoping we're lucky and don't lose our electricity so at least I can use my computer! To top it off, DH has been away on business and is currently trying to get back before the worse of the storm hits. Praying that he does so I don't have to be alone!

    Thinking of you! Hope you all stay safe. Maybe you could make a bunch of yummy snacks right now, get a good book and put your feet up?

    (I'm a midwest girl and have never been in a hurricane, so I have no idea what people do! :) )

    I hear you, we're expected to get hit Monday (Polk County). Planning on doing some last running around then wait for the winds tomorrow. Just wish hubby were here.

    We are in Orlando with a beach getaway planned on palm coast. I have a feeling we are going to be sitting inside at our beach front resort. Kinda bummed ;

    Luckily hubby is on his way home and his flight is scheduled on time so far. This is perfect weather for some quality cuddle time :)

    Glad your hubby is (hopefully) making it home. It's no fun to ride out a Tropical Storm alone. We are in Orlando, since Isaac is so wide (TS force winds extend out 205 miles) we are expected to get some TS conditions here later today and tomorrow, but it should be manageable.

    So are we! Hopefully you are not in Hollywood - who seems to be getting it worst in Broward County.  I definitely have cabin fever.  Even though I am suppose to be working :(
