Labor?

So....I'm having contractions? every 2 min or so lasting about a minute each.  They are painful, but not unbearable. Just kinda like bad period cramps. Also, there was a small amount of blood in the toilet and light pink on the toilet paper. Could this be the real deal?  I'm worried that all this pain is for nothing. :(  Anyone else have any suggestions?

    I had some that we're close together and not too painful. Went in and got sent home. Had these for about 20 hours. By then I was crying and screaming. THAT was the real deal. Got to the hospital and LO was born 3.5 hours later. Wait until you can't stand the pain anymore to go in, but it sounds like things are getting ready to roll.

    In the 20 hour period, we went to dinner and went to a movie wih my brother and SIL. Try to do something to pass the time.

    I'm having the same thing : yay! I've been texting my doula and it's definitely early labor. But it could go on for a couple of days still. She says when they stop you in your tracks and you can't talk through them is the time to call her/go to the hospital.

    I'm in a similar position! Having some period-like cramping/contractions which is more painful than BH, and just lost some mucus plug. I'm going to start timing.
