DHA

I read somewhere on an email article for moms awhile back (looking for it now but haven't found it yet) that DHA actually makes no difference to take with your prenatal vitamin.  Does anyone else know anything about this?  My dr says to take it, but this was some new research or something, I'm gonna keep hunting but if anyone else has come across anything like this, please let me know, tia! :)

    With #1, I only took a regular prenatal and DS turned out fine -- smart as a whip, as far as I can tell, LOL. I'm pg with #2 now and I am taking the DHA, but a plant-based version (non-fish). Mine is Spring Valley brand from Walmart. I figure, it can't hurt and maybe it can help. It costs me about $7/month or so. I'm not familiar with the study you mention.
