DS's preschool teacher told us that DS will do what other kid's say, even if it is something he knows he shouldn't do (i.e. throw toys, push, etc.). DS has always been a bit of a follower in some ways, but he knows right from wrong. Even the teacher says that when she talks with him about these situations (she caught it happening one time), DS knows that what he did was wrong. But he chose to do it anyway b/c some kid told him to. Anyone deal with this? DS is a very sweet and affectionate kid who has been in daycare and preschool since 7 months old. What can we do at home to foster more independent thinking on his part?
