I decided to go with couple #1. I can see different things in them that I really like, and they overshadow the little things I don't like. I don't really know much about the actual environment that the babies will be brought up in, and that definitely makes me nervous. I'm hoping that I will be invited to see their home and meet the grandparents and stuff. Not going to ask, but I hope they offer. I invited them over for dinner tomorrow, but I don't know if they will come.
Re: Picked the couple
What a brave step forward
I think it's okay in time to ask to see more..... right now ask to see pictures. I would have loved showing pictures off to our birth moms.
You say, "I don't really know much about the actual environment that the babies will be brought up in". Do you mean that you don't know what the home looks like? If so, ask for pics.. If you mean something else, please share
This is a great idea! I'm sure they'll be excited to show you pictures.

After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.

Come home, baby A!
Well yes, the home, but more importantly the people that will be around them a lot when they're growing up.
I know I still have plenty of time to search more, but I feel a tug towards this couple. I really feel that the babies are meant for them. They're so nice, and they already have a daughter, so my babies will have a big sister looking out for them, and I really like that.
Greentea- I think it's very appropriate to want to also see pics of family and friends. Our profile had pics of the people in our life...
Not sure if this was said already...maybe you can ask them to bring pictures with them since you said in the one post that they are coming over for dinner?
