The couple I picked out might be coming over for dinner, so I started picking up a little, and then I ended up cleaning everything. Oops. Oh well, at least it's nice and clean and if they come, it'll be all nice. 
I'm making hamburger helper! I hope they like it. Well, I hope they come, and that they like it.

Yeah, the only time my house gets thoroughly cleaned is when other people are coming!

Mar '12: Homestudy interrupted by change in Uganda requirements - where do we go from here?
After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
Homestudy complete July 19
USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!

They came!!
We had so much fun. They brought their daughter, and I let her watch a movie in my room while we talked in the living room. She was really polite and well mannered. And and and they brought CAKE! Not only that, my favorite cake. When I asked the mom what kind it was, she said red velvet with cream cheese icing, and then she said it was her favorite, and I like gasped and was like "IT'S MINE TOO."
I'm so glad they came!
