I'm sorry that I don't have any recommedations for you for a support group. I am also sorry that you came to a mommy board to ask and no one has responded yet. If you are experiencing post partum, you should definitely talk to your doctor ASAP. He/she will be able to provide you with many resources to help you through your depression. Remember this is very treatable.
Post Partum doesnt neccesarily mean post Partum depression, she could simply mean the time after childbirth. In the later case, Franklin square hospital has a weekly post Partum meetup group. It's free and they provide lunch, it is hosted by the lactation RN's in the hospital. If you are experiencing actual post Partum depression you should start with talking to your OB or primary care provider.
