TTC after 35

How am I supposed to get KU when...

... I have ILs who stress me out to the max?!?

Can I tell MH that his family sucks and is risking our chances of TTC? *sigh*

They are an epic saga of selfish crapola that makes me want to have a hairy coniption every time I have to deal with them. His sister is the worst of them. I can't even ignore them because I cannot ignore that they take him for granted and hurt his feelings on a regular basis. He has gotten so much better at doing less for them, now that he sees how selfish they are, but it still hurts to watch them regularly crap on him because he loves them and wants them to be the kind of family that my sister, brother, parents, etc. are. And the kind of family that he deserves.

I hope it rains and is incredibly buggy all weekend where they're camping (without having asked him to join them). And I hope their animals all take huge craps and vomit all over the apartment on the last day that we have to take care of them, after MH has left them for the last time. @sshats.

  • My wish for your IL's is that they come home to a leaky underground pipe that has been the source of drinking water to a small colony of skunks who have befriended an enormous possum who is in dire need of anger management classes.

DW, sorry you are dealing with crappy IL's.  It's always tough when they are "family", it's not like you can just get rid of them.

  • LLama, I like your plan!

I wish I could just deal with my SFIL-- he may be a bit of a bore, but he would give us the shirt off his back because he recognizes all that MH (and I) have done for the family. He also appreciates what we do-- from making him dinner when my MIL is off playing bingo (you know, instead of taking the $35 from skipping a night and getting MH a birthday present), to taking him to see action movies with us, to getting him a seaplane ride for father's day, to helping him paint their porch.

Ugh. ILs: can't live with 'em; too big to flush.
