So it is thankfully the weekend!!! Work this week has insane and I am seriosuly going to either cry or go off on someone if I do not get out of this office So let's hear those fun plans!!
Fri: Leaving work early...thank goodness!!!! Getting gas and picking up Ky before hitting the road to IN. I am pretty suire we are hitting Scotty's for dinner tonight....mmmmm grilled cheese with goat cheese on it.....I have been informed that K's husband is going to be our DD. We are also making caramel apple shots in apples for tomorrow night!
Sat: Something fun with the girls all day, we have a lot of options so who knows! Dinner out and then drinks at home (caramel apple shots in apple slices, yum!) after the girls go to bed!
Sun: More fun activities with the girls, again whatever sounds like agood time. I usually leave IN around nap time so 1) Ky sleeps the whole way home and 2) I stil get to spend time with Ann on her day off but this time around I have no reason to be home early! So we are going to spend MOST of the day there too!
As a side not I am super exctied for this girls' weekend and it is much needed!
Not weekend related, persay, but I was thinking about you on our walk this morning. We bought this stroller recently, and it really works for us. It has a parent tray ( a must for us), folds small, and works well on gravel. Could work for you if you haven't bought one yet.
This weekend: Kids have a visit this afternoon. I am hoping to make a stepping stone (hand imprints) for my dad for Sunday. We usually do pizza and (part of a) movie on Friday nights to unwind.
Sat--busy day! Pancake breakfast at their new school! The teachers will serve and they can go inside and meet their teachers. Eye dr appts for both. Then a birthday party for a friend's daughter. Hopefully finish the stepping stone.
Sun--possibly try a new church. Go to my parents for my dad's birthday. (just grilling out) Although Carrot told me she wanted to wear a fancier outfit she got for her birthday. "I want to look cu-uute for Grandpa R's birthday. Just like Gramma G looked cute for my party." She is so sweet.

Thanks for the rec! I have not bought one yet as I am still debating if my umbrella stroller is sufficient or not lol. The parent tray is one thing I definately miss! You also just reminded me that my stroller is in my mom's jeep from last weekend and I will not have it for this weekend...boo!
Not much, working on a (long) job application. Hopefully we'll spend some time with my parents - my dad is working this weekend, but maybe we'll get brunch before he goes in. Working on consistent naps after a crazy week with visitors.
Friday: Parents are leaving so they came by to say goodbye. So glad to have a few hours of down time :-) EV comes home late night.
Saturday: Not sure: homework? chores? hopefully something fun too. I need to dedicate some time to finishing thank you cards...
Sunday: Our friends and their baby girl (our due date buddies) are coming over for brunch or lunch. Very excited to see them. (below: Kaden at 5 weeks)
Then either drinking to celebrate or commiserate...
Good luck!!!
My childhood friend is visiting me tomorrow with her 3 kids. They are all the products of one very successful IVF cycle (2 kids in the first pregnancy and 1 from a leftover frozen embryo) -- basically exactly what I need to see right now.
Sunday we're coming out to my family...as IVFers, not as lesbians. We never told them we were TTC, but we feel like they need to know now. My wife told my ILs yesterday and it went very well.
Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011 9 IUIs = 9 BFNs IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
