Heya, PAL gals! I am over the moon elated to be joining you. I gave birth to my baby girl on Saturday morning (her birth story is here on PGAL: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/68200944.aspx). The short, short version: Elinor Anna was born at 4:52 a.m. after six and a half hours of unmedicated labor, 7 lb. 5 oz. at birth and 20.5 inches long. We were team green and thinking we were having a boy, so she was a big surprise!
We've been struggling with BFing but she finally got a good latch yesterday afternoon and my milk came in today! So we are on the right track, I think. We're also cloth diapering, and I remain pretty excited about that (even though we totally forgot to pack and bring a diaper bag to her first pediatric appt.!)
Excited to get to know those of you I don't and reconnect with some of the mamas who graduated from PGAL during my months there!
