Rock your LO to sleep.
I'm guily. I love it and don't want to give it up. DS has been a bad sleeper forever and he's needed to be rocked. I don't know how he will go down without doing it. I try not to put him down totally asleep, hopefully that will make it easier in the long run.

Surprise BFP 6/25/14 LO#3 due Feb2015!
I nurse him to sleep, H rocks him. Considering he thinks naps are for weaklings he needs some help winding down. I'm not sure what would happen if I just laid him down but I imagine nobody would be happy.
He is asleep within 10mins if I time it right with his sleepy cues so I don't want to mess with something that works. I've heard a lot of moms report by 2yrs a lot of kids stop nursing to sleep. I am sort of dreading that day because it's so darn easy lol.
Yes. Still rock her for naps and bedtime. I just don't think CIO would work for her, she would be like "Whoa! mom left me here in the crib to PARTY ALL NIGHT!!"
Not sure what I'm gonna do moving forward, but I plan on rocking her down until it gets really uncomfortable LOL maybe by then I'll be able to just say GO TO SLEEP!

Hell yeah!
When she lets me!
Rocking as always worked well for us and we don't have major sleep issues so I see no reason to stop.
However, more times than not she prefers I just lay her down, let her have her sippy and she looks at books until she's asleep.
