Did sickness return after it left?

Hi ladies!
I'm feeling a little discouraged. I guess I was being naive in thinking that I was past the worst of the nausea and vomiting because (with the exception of having my schedule out of whack on vacay) I have been vomit free for several weeks. (REJOICE!)
However, these past few days I have been extremely fatigued during the day and by bedtime I'm back to hugging the terlet. This started at about 21 weeks.

If you were sick during your pregnancy, did it come back after going away? When? I'm just worried that I might be missing a sign of some sort of issue and hoping it's perfectly normal. Thanks in advance!

Re: Did sickness return after it left?

  • Around 20ish weeks, I stopped throwing up everyday. It slowly tapered down and I even went a couple of weeks without getting sick. But, I threw up the other day. I have good days and bad days, but I think a lot of my nausea is now related to the lack of room/heartburn/reflux instead of straight up hormone induced m/s. Hope you feel better soon!

  • Ugh, I've been so sick since week 5, still am.  It better not return once it goes away!  Hope you feel better.

  • Just this morning, my breakfast omelet made an unfortunate return. I have felt better since week fifteen so this was totally unexpected! Here's hoping its just temporary, I guess.

Oh, boy - I hope so! The main difference for me now is that I can feel them moving around when before I couldn't. So now I find that every time I throw up I'm talking to them saying "I'm sorry babies! I know that can't feel good but I can't help it"! haha

  • My m/s stopped around the 14/15 week mark, but I've thrown up twice in the last 2 weeks.  The first time I just felt off (after eating breakfast) and the second time was because DS was snuggling with me and accidently bumped me really hard in the belly... felt pretty sick after that and then up it came!  Hopefully your nausea will subside.  Right now pressure on my belly makes me cringe and heartburn sucks.  It seems like it's always something!
