Birth Announcement Outfit-Opinions?

I bought this hat for DS's birth announcement in green and white:

I had thought about putting him in a white onesie, but I bought these adorable newborn blue jeans yesterday and I thought it might be cute to just dress him in the hat and the blue jeans. Whatdya think?

Why not just the hat, like in the picture? I think newborn pics are most adorable when they're very natural, and jeans on a baby just don't look all that natural to me.

This. Jeans are hard to wrangle onto a baby and not very comfy.

Yup.

That photo is absolutely perfect. I wouldn't try to over-think it by adding more clothes/accessories.
