Sorry to be a PW, J is napping and MIL is here so I had a few minutes to get on and see what everyone has been up to. I was surfing FB between reading posts and someone's status caught my eye:
"Have you ever made salmon in your dishwasher? No joke! It actually works."
She is going to school to be a health coach and she learned from her school that you can season your fish, add a little oil, wrap it tightly, then run it on a cycle and it steams the fish for you. She did it in an empty dishwasher but she said that some people do it with the dirty dishes running as well. If your wrap it really tight, no soap will get in.
So bump moms, have you ever heard of this/tried it? If you haven't heard of it, would you try it? I'm kind of leery lol

Re: Cooking fish in the dishwasher
This! There's no way running your dishwasher is more energy efficient than cooking it on a Foreman grill or something. I guess you're saving energy if you cook it while doing your dirty dishes, but ewwww. What if all your clean dishes come out smelling like fish?
Ha ha! Nope, you and all the rest of us are perfectly normal!! That friend however.... ;-)
Why on earth would someone do that? Oven...grill...skillet... And putting FOOD in there with dirty dishes and SOAP. OMG. Sounds like a perfect way to diarrhea. Gross.
I know! We RARELY cook fish in our house anyway because I hate the fishy smell. I can't imagine my dishwasher and dishes smelling that way! EEK!
