Is it just me or has there been an influx of P&R on Sept. 12 the past few days?

Not that I think there has to be dramaz all the time in order for the board to be interesting (and in fact the rehashing of certain topics has gotten old), but there has been a serious lack of justified snark. I miss it.

Has new motherhood made everyone mushy?

Andplusalso, I don't recognize 2/3 of the posters around here currently. From whence did they come?

I didn't play much on the BMBs last time around, and honestly I hardly noticed on the Tri boards (seems like they're always full of asinine posts re: losing MPs and "OMG could I be in labor?!"). Maybe I need to pay more attention.

Ha! Wait a few more weeks and this whole message board will be a constant 'splosion of birth stories and well wishes and "labor dust" and sleep deprived mamas voicing their disbelief at actually being a mom now etc. etc. Also, half the people here will probably stop posting or cut back a lot. So, yeah, it's gonna look different around here. I've seen boards I posted regularly at for over a year just fade into lala land. It's the way of the innerwebs I guess.

This. Plus the new baby a day doesn't help. I can't keep up with the mobile version and have been too busy to get online. Not that I really contributed to the snark.

They also need to fix the quote boxes on the mobile site. I have a hard time keeping up with who says what when there are multiple quotes. I've been posting a lot more lately since I'm off work now, but it does seem like the board has slowed way down in interesting topics. Now, it's the same old crap, different day a lot of times.

It is a lot of P&R but mostly just less posting. I think those of us that are still working are scrounging to tie up all the loose ends before leave. I know I am only on sporadically during the day now and playing catch up at night. I am sure I am not the only one. And I think those mammas on bedrest or already on leave are busy trying to keep up with their older kids or finishing up things before the baby in what little time allowed out of bed. Everything is just slower at the end - ha.

I've been trying to tie up loose ends at work (and the work seems to keep piling on - yay!), so I check in briefly throughout the day. I haven't really been a regular poster, though.

Apparently I should have read this thread before I posted in FFFC. Because yeah, things are weird here.

The mobile site is probably not helping... I get confused over which threads are still going strong and who is saying what. Then responding is such a pain, sometimes I think, oh I'll respond next time I get online! And I forget.

The board has just slown down A LOT. But I think that's how it goes now that a lot of ladies have had their babies and others are almost ready to go.

It is different. More boring. I skipped out for a couple of weeks doing house re-vamps, and I come back to women having their sweet babies and pretty much nothing else entertaining. I keep seeing the same posts now, too.

Aside from the top few posters, I rarely recognize anyone anyway (unless they had a memorable siggy), so that never bothered me. Still doesn't. Especially since I'm more than likely not one of the more memorable posters here myself! lol
