May I ask for your adoption-related T&P?

I resigned from my newish job this week because I couldn't make it work with my supervisor. MH has an interview for a position that would put us back on track to adopt, due to a higher salary and *adoption assistance*! It would be a much-needed break for us (after a rough few years), and I wouldn't have to find another full-time job.

So I'm asking for thoughts/prayers/dust/vibes for MH to do really well in his interview Friday. TIA. Big Smile

We're kind of in the same boat with DH's job. He had an interview about 2 weeks ago and it went pretty well. He's waiting to hear if he gets a call-back. It would be a higher salary for us, too, which would help with things in general and maybe saving towards adoption #2.

I'm sorry things didn't work out for you with your job. It makes such a difference to work for someone you get along well with. I totally understand.

I see that you're in the Detroit/Toledo area...me, too (Detroit, that is.)

Fingers crossed. My DH is also waiting to hear back from an interview he had on Friday. Here's hoping everyone on the board (and spouses) gets the jobs they want by Labor Day! (pun intended)
