I am a teacher and right before I found out I was pregnant I found a new position in a different county. Since I am new to this county I do not qualify for FMLA or short term disability. I get 6 or 8 weeks to be home and ideally I want that time to be after the delivery.
So when did you work until?
I would love to stick it out at work till I deliver like I did with my DD but I have a feeling that is not realistic.
Re: When did you stop working?
I worked until 36 weeks and had my babies at 37 weeks. But I had a desk job and did nothing but work and sleep, and I was still miserable.

I had planned to work until 36 weeks, but that didn't happen
I was one of those everything was fine until it wasn't.
I work a full time desk job, and was putting in 50+ hours around 24 weeks. My Dr. said I needed to cut back, so I did. I had PTL at 33 weeks and was put on bedrest. Up until that point I had zero complications or issues.
Honestly, I don't know how I would have worked from 34 weeks on anyway. Driving was almost impossible, as was sitting up right. My belly was huge! I was pretty miserable even on bed rest
Boy/girl twins born at 37w1d and 37w2d
Our leave policy at work has women expecting multiples go out at 34 weeks -- and I'll be taking my remaining vacation on top of that (which will also overlap with Thanksgiving), so I'll be out of the office around 31.5 weeks.
Here's to hoping I can make it that long! I'm a little anxious that I'll be bored as heck if I'm able to bake these kiddos for a full 37+ weeks, but from what I hear, I'll be so uncomfortable post-30 weeks, anyway, so time will tell.
I work in healthcare, so I am on my feet all day at work, few bathroom breaks, 10 min lunch, etc. I dropped to part/half time @ 26 weeks and then started bedrest @ 30 wks for a growth discordance. By 32 weeks, it was uncomfortable to move, so I probably wouldn't have been able to work after that point.
My boss is letting me take an extended unpaid mat leave, so I won't go back to work until the babies are 6.5 mos old. I feel like the first 9 weeks after delivering were such a blur-we were so exhausted (DH only had 1 week off work and works long work days). I can't imagine only getting 6-12 wks off for maternity leave!!

I am a teacher too and I made it to 35 weeks then it was the end of the school year. The last few weeks were rough but I did absolutely nothing when I came home but rest!
Good luck!
