What for dinner? For you and for LO? I just made some delicious cheesy chicken enchiladas. Mmmmmm. The plan was for Mason to have the same, but it got kind of late so I tried one of those Gerber toddler meals that I had on hand. He was NOT impressed. I tried it, and I found it tasty. He literally threw it at me. This was not an accident. He whipped chicken at me with perfect aim twice before i cleared his plate. I guess he has been spoiled with home cooked meals.

    I had the best of intentions and put vegetable-beef stew in the crockpot to be ready at 5 so I could go to a meeting and not worry about DH and the kids eating.  Unfortunately, I set the crockpot to low instead of high and at 5 I still couldn't get a fork through the potatoes.  So, Burger King it was.  My stomach is paying for it now, but it was quick, easy, and dairy free so it is what it is.  The good news is we will have excellent homemade stew and fresh bread tomorrow night for dinner.  :-)

    My mom brought dinner (she has to stay with DD while DH works since I am still not allowed to lift her), and it was some kind of beef barbeque, french fries, and carrots.

    I had taco salad. DD had avocado, chicken potstickers, and white peaches.

    We went to Taco Bueno. A good friend of ours passed away a few years ago and he loved Taco Bueno, so every year, on the anniversary of his death, we eat there. It'd probably make more sense to go on his birthday, but it started when we were heading to his funeral and we saw a Taco Bueno on the way and we thought we'd stop and have lunch in honor of him.

    We had shredded pork on buns, fruit, chips and some other stuff in the fridge!

    It was very good.

    It's what Rubes had too. Loved it.

    She hates those toddlers meals btw too for some reason. She eats pouches like there may not be pouches tomorrow! :)

    I made bowtie pasta with an alfredo/pesto sauce with early peas and roasted red peppers mixed in and roasted chicken. It was delicious! DS loved it too. He was closing his eyes and saying "MMMMMMMMM". Hilarious!

    M&M, Anderson HATES those toddler meals too and he likes to stick in his spoon and fling them. I think the turkey and rice one is pretty tasty, but he has other ideas.
