Did you get a shot of the "nub" or check out the "angle of the dangle"? I did. I thought *for sure* it looked like a girl nub but I posted a picture on in-gender and they are all guessing boy. I'd love to see other March Mama's nub posts!
The babies legs were crossed so we saw nothing. I asked the sonographer if she could guess if the baby would show its stuff and she said no. I had the extra DNA testing with the NT scan. They told me that they could tell if it was a boy or girl based on my bloodwork but they would not.
At 12w, it's a little early, since the parts still look the same. If it was around 14w, I've heard they can guess, but I wouldn't buy the baby clothes yet. My baby was sitting cross-legged too, so it wouldn't have mattered.
I'm talking about the angle of the parts. I know there's no distinct boy or girl parts this early but sometimes you can tell and there is scientific proof based off the angle of the nub. Boys point more upwards while girls have about a 10 degree difference from the spine.
That stuff is so fascinating!!! You guys who have had the u/s and been able to see the nub should say what the guess was when you get your big u/s later so we can see who all had the right guesses!

Re: People who've had their NT scans..
I hope they are right!! They've all said boy so far. We shall see for sure in 6 weeks

Yeah but it's the way they're pointing which makes it a boy or girl. Well see!
I've read that at 13 weeks, it's like 95% accurate - but I still wouldn't trust it either!
