anyones LO grow slowly?

in 2nd Trimester

I don't want to sound dumb for asking. Yesterday I had an ultrasound at what should be around 7 weeks. They found no embryo and the sac grew only about 5 days since my last u/s 2 weeks ago. Any possibility that the sac is growing slow? Google seems to think so but I'd like to actually hear it from someone.

    I had this happen twice last year, both ending in miscarriages. I guess it could be possible but not very likely. I actually read something that said your body is actually tricked into thinking it's pregnant and your uterus starts growing and you start having all of the signs of a pg but there's not really a baby growing. It's just a cruel joke your body is playing on you. I don't know why but it made me feel a lot better knowing there was never a baby. :/

    My first u/s last week had the baby 4 days behind.  Then had an u/s this week and baby is back to original dating.  My guess, babies grow faster some weeks and slower some others....

    I think they should be able to see an embryo at 7 weeks.  I'm so sorry.

    I went in at 6 weeks same as you just a sack. She said she wanted me come back in a week as they usually always see something by 7 weeks. If nothing again she said another miscarriage was immanent. Before you get too discouraged make sure your dates are correct. Maybe your a lot earlier than thought or ovulated late. I'm sorry you have to go through this I know how hard it is!!

    I temped and charted but stopped at like 3dpo to keep myself from obsessing over my chart. Maybe I should have kept going and the lines would have changed or idk. I'm just lost.
