J caught the ick

I commented in a thread below (IDR which one) that 2 kids have been home sick this week and 2 others wound up getting low grade fevers. J was the only one in class that acted fine and low and behold if he didn't wake up with a 101.8 fever. MIL came over to watch him while I went to seminar this morning and she's staying for me to go to my Dr appointment this afternoon. When I came home for lunch his fever started coming back and he threw a FIT wanting his daddy. Poor guy.

    Oh no, poor J!  Hope he's back at it soon.  C's got some diarrhea/rashy thing tonight.  Don't you love DC sometimes?  ;-)

    It's even worse when you work there. The first 2 months of me working there sickness was in overdrive at our house. Thankfully MIL is retired so she could come today and tomorrow to keep J for me while I go to class. Hope C feels better, too!

    Oh no!  Poor J!  It's not the flu is it?  I already got my shot in hopes of guarding myself early this year against school germs. :)  Hope J feels better soon!!

    I haven't thought about that but I really don't think it is. His fever will come up and he'll act sluggish and lay around but as soon as the ibuprofen kicks in, he's running around acting fine. He does have a cough/runny nose and sounds congested. And when he talks or cries you can hear he is hoarse so I'm not sure what it is. Idk if I need to make him an appointment or just wait it out :
