Those who see an RE, a question for you.

Did you already set up your first appointment with your OB, or are you waiting until you are done seeing the RE?

I'm actually going to ask about this today. I don't graduate until 10 weeks and that seems late to call to set up a first appointment.

My RE told me that I see him until after my second u/s. My first u/s is on Monday (the 27th), and the second should be around the 2nd of Sept. At that point, they send a letter to my OB and they break up with me

They also told me that I should make my first OB appt after my first u/s (on the 27th) to insure I can get in on time... The Ob will see me around 8 weeks.

Although my RE is still doing bloodwork/hormone checks on me, I will not go back for another ultra sound. He told me to call and make my OB appointment last week, he did not think we'd see the dr for 3 or 4 weeks and told me he was still my dr until then if I needed anything. When I called they told me they have patients come in for an 8 week appointment and meet with a nurse before starting with the dr. That appointment is this afternoon.

I would call and get the appointment with the OB on the books. Every practice is different when they first want to see you - and many girls wind up overlapping with RE and OB for that first appointment.
