How long after did you have bleeding? I've had light bleeding for about a month since my D&C. The dr says it's normal, but it's really pissing me off. We're going to the beach for a week on Saturday and I thought it would be gone. Tampons are a no-no so how am I supposed to go swimming? Now this is going to screw up my much-needed vacation.
And an even bigger question, even though the dr says it's normal I'm worried there's something wrong with my ute.
Dx: High FSH, stage IV endo, homozygous C677T MTHFR and PAI-1

I asked last Friday when I went in for my beta (which was 35, so still going down). Dr said it was ok to still have bleeding.
I go in tomorrow so I will ask again...

Same here...minimal spotting and period ~6 weeks later. A month does seem like a really long time...extremely annoying and I'd also be getting worried.

MH: 37, Dx Obstructive Azoospermia, multiple successful sperm retrieval procedures

I had a D & E after the twins for retained tissue so I am not sure how different it is but I bled/spotted for about 2 weeks I think.
I hope it goes away really soon hon!

Hi May - hope you don't mind me responding here just thought it would be helpful to say I bled for about 6 weeks after my D&E. The last two weeks were pretty light but definitely bleeding. And it pissed me off every.single.day
I hope it magically stops soon so you can enjoy your vacay! BCPs aren't a bad idea, if your Dr will let you.
Of course I don't mind
Thanks for everyone's responses - it's interesting how different people's experiences were. I don't think they'll put me on BCPs until my beta's at 0, but I'll see what they say tomorrow.

Now I'm a stay at home loving life and pursuing my love of photography!!!
It's very light (like a couple pantyliners per day), and mostly brown. It does seem to be slowing, just very slowly. My beta is going down so it doesn't seem that it's retained product. Right now I'm going to the office closer to my house so I'm seeing a different doctor, but after my vacation I'm going to meet with my regular doctor for a full follow-up. I'll ask her if she thinks it's normal. I'm hoping she'll want to do an endometrial biopsy, saline sono, etc before a possible FET anyway, so if something was really wrong I would hope it would be caught then.
Honestly I am so sick of my f'ing uterus. It has caused me nothing but trouble.

I bled for 8 weeks off and on after my first D&C. Heavy to light back to heavy. My send one was around 3-4 weeks of spotting.
I hope it's over soon.
