How long in Size 1 Swaddlers?

DS is still in Newborn Swaddlers, we have about 1 1/2 weeks worth of them left. Hopefully they'll still fit that long, I can tell he's going through a growth spurt. I found a good Pampers sale & have coupons, so want to pick up some Size 1s, but I already have a pretty good stash - potentially 2 months' worth. If I consider he'll have been in Newborn diapers for 6 weeks, how long should I expect Size 1s to fit? Should I just buy some 2s for my stash instead?

I would buy the 2's. I have three packs of size 1's left but they are getting smaller and smaller every day. I bet DS is in 2's by next week.

Unfortunately it is impossible to know for sure...we can take all the guesses we want but it all depends on the babies size, build, growth spurts, etc.

For example, my first DD was in NB for a good 3 months, then was in size 1 for another couple, then flew through size 2's and 3's, and has now been in 4's forever it seems.

My second DD was in NB for about 3 weeks, then size 1 for about 5 weeks, and is now in 2's.

Seems like we were in #1's for only a month.

For us it is more of a weight thing - she is about 14 lbs now and we have about 50 size 1 swaddlers left, so we'll finish those in a week or so (size 2 weight is 12-18 lbs so she probably could wear those already). She will have been in size 1 since she was 10 lbs (1.5 months old - now 3 months old) as she was in NB from birth to 10 lbs.

Thanks! I think I will go ahead and just get some 2s - I only have 2 packages of those, so I think it'll be safe.
