Allen Presby - Dr. Merideth

Anyone have Dr. Merideth there? Just curious about your experience w/her and Presby in Allen. I am just 7 weeks and I'm going there because DH says that Presby is the best (I have no clue), and it is the closest to our home.

    I gave birth ar Allen presby.  I had a great experience, the nurses were great.  My DD was in the special care nursery for 8 days and the hospital allowed us to stay in my hospital room the whole time so I could nurse and visit her whenever I wanted.  There was no charge for this by the way and I still got to order room service,  I will say the food was not great, but I highly recommend them.  If you are at all planning on nursing, the lactation consultants are wonderful and someone is there 24/7.  I learned so much from the NiCU nurses and I went home feeling rested and confident.  Congratulations and good luck!

    I have Dr. Merideth at Allen Presby and she is absolutely wonderful! She is very nice and makes me feel very comfortable. Dr. Merideth has a great sense of humor and her staff is wonderful as well. My husband and I recently toured the labor and delivery area which is very nice. All the nurses in labor and delivery are super sweet and helpful, so we are looking forward to giving birth at Allen Presby. I highly recommend Dr. Merideth to anybody who asks. Also, waht is very comforting for me being a new mom with many questions about pregnancy, the nurse at the Dr.'s office is always available to take calls if you have a question. Hope this helps!

    I have her too. I have only seen her one time but really liked her. I am wanting an all natural birth, so I will have to talk with her in more detail about that before I decide for sure if I am sticking to her. 

    Good to hear such good things about her though!
