failed 1 hr glucose test

I am quite upset that I failed my one hour glucose test.  I was really surprised because with my DS two years ago I had no problems.  Part of me also feels like it is somehow my fault and that makes me feel really guilty or ashamed.  I know I shouldn't but I feel like perhaps I was eating bad or something.   

I am now scheduled for the 3 hour test and I am anxious about that.  I have the test on Monday and I am not looking forward to it at all!  : (   Did any of you fail your one hour test and go on to pass the three hour test?

I just had my 1 hr test yesterday and they told me today i failed... i have my 3 hr test next wed and i am also anxious. i just hope it all turns out ok.

    I too failed the first, and passed the 3 hr.  dont worry!  Even the worst case scenario, you just adjust your diet.  Not a huge deal at all!

    I too failed the 1 hour (as have several of my friends who went on to pass the 3 hour). I had my 3 hour this morning. I was really nervous about it but it went fine. DH insisted on coming with me and it was actually really nice. We brought a laptop and watched DVD's while waiting in between blood draws..it helped pass the time and keep me distracted from how hungry I was!! I'm nervous about the results of this one...but I keep looking at it that theres really nothing else I could have done. Good Luck!!
