Pancakes...is bisquick ok?

I wanted to give dd pancakes...is bisquick ok, what about milk (in the pancakes)

Or does anyone have recipe for babies that is good??

    I'm confused.  Why would you think it's not ok?  Because of the milk?  Babies can have milk before one.  The guidance is not to give it to them straight because A) by itself it can be a little hard to digest but more importantly B) it's to discourage parents from stopping BM/formula in favor of milk before a year

    Bisquick it totally fine. We have pancakes every Saturday for breakfast and I only use bisquick.

    My only concern with pancakes is that babies can sometimes put too much in their mouths and choke on them. An ER nurse friend of mine told me about a toddler that died because he stuffed his mouth with pancakes, choked, and the couldn't clear the airway because the pancakes swelled. This is obviously an extreme case but since it happened in my area I am more aware of it. I just make sure to tear them into really tiny pieces and only give her a little at a time.

    I just bought the mini frozen ones for LO. I'm planning on DH just heating some for breakfast and cutting into smaller pieces for him.

    PI wasn't sure about the dairy and the eggs...how much water do you use??

    I make Bisquick pancakes for DD every Sunday, and we eat the leftovers for breakfasts throughout the week.  The milk and eggs are fine.

    To give the pancakes some extra flavor, I will mash up 1 to 2 bananas (1 for a half batch, two for a full batch) and mix that in with the rest of the ingredients.  The pancakes are less dry and very tasty, DD and DH love them this way!  You could also add about a cup of applesauce to the full batch mixture as an alternative.

    Most every weekend we make bisquick pancakes, I add a cup of apple sauce and a bunch of blueberries (most people would say too many)... yum!  Occasionally I'll add half a can of pumpkin puree and cinnamon instead to mix it up. I can't wait for saturday!
