I have my c-section on Monday. I have already bought a nursing tank top, I have comfortable high-waisted pants and very large underwear...lol. I did also buy a nursing bra and didn't know if I would be able to wear that during the section?
I wore my bra during my C/S. I just had to make sure that it didn't have any metal pieces on it just in case (God forbid) something unexpected happened. I imagine the requirements also differ among the various hospitals/Drs. So you might want to ask your specific Dr.
I was told to remove all of my clothing before putting on the hospital gown for the c-section. My breasts weren't sore or leaking, so it didn't bother me to not have on a bra.

This. No clothing allowed under my gown for any of my c-sections.

usually no clothing to the OR except a gown because if there was any possiblity of metal in your bra and electrocautery was used, that would be very bad..

My c-section was unplanned, and I'd been wearing a bra during labor. It was a sports bra type nursing bra, so no metal. I think they assumed I wasn't wearing one when they prepped me for the c-section because I don't remember anyone saying anything. (They had originally said to take it off when I was admitted, but I asked to leave it on.)
FWIW, I was really glad I had it on because I wouldn't have been able to get one on for awhile afterwards until they'd unhooked me from everything.
