Jumperoo- when did you first use it?

I have the Rainforest Jumperoo in its packaging and am excited to put it together for my son who is finally playing with toys and loves sitting on me (with my assistance, of course) and has recently been enjoying the Bumbo for 5-10 minutes at a time. I wonder when you all first started letting your LO use the jumperoo, and did they like it?

I put DD in hers for the first time at 3 and a half months, as soon as she could sit up assisted. I had to put a pillow underneath and it took her a week or two to figure out that it bounced but she loves it now.

We put DS in it when he was about 4 1/2 months old because that is when we bought it, but we could have easily put him in it a few weeks to a month earlier. He loved it from the very beginning. We bounced it a couple of times for him so he could get the hang of it, but it didn't take long. At first he needed a book underneath him because he couldn't quite reach the ground, but he's grown a bit since then and doesn't need it anymore.

We put DD in around 10 weeks I think.....she was holding her head up and sitting in our laps so we thought she was ready. It is by far her favorite thing! I would bust it out and give it a try. We put a blanket behind her and books under her feet. She goes a good 15 mins in it now!

We started at 3 months. He could hold his head steady very well but was pretty skinny so we just shoved a blanket between him and the front of the seat so he didn't flop his body around so much. Once he had better trunk control a couple of weeks later we took the blanket out. Now he has a blast in it!

I just put my little guy in his jumper yesterday and he really likes it. He gets overwhelmed with all of the toys and can only handle a little bit at a time, but other then that he loves it.

FYI: I don't know if you heard but there was a recall on the bumboos. My little guy would sit in it all the time and loves it. If you google bumboo recall you will get their site and you can order a safety kit. I am eager to get mine cuz my little guy really does enjoy sitting in it.

We started using it around 3 months. We put a blanket around him until about 4.5 months. Now he is in it with a support pillow that ours came with. He is 5.5 months.

We started last week at 3.5 months. He has pretty good control of his head but he is still a little small so we have to cushion him with a pillow. He loves it but only in small amounts of 5-10 mins at a time and then he gets distracted and wants out.
