This is me too! I am so excited to meet LO, but I know it is so much easier now with just DD. I'm also getting a little nervous for labor!
That's how I am too! Torn between wanting to go into labor so bad and so scared to have the baby. I think that's why the little guy is being so obstinate. I wish I could change my attitude and coax him to come on out! (40w 2d)
This sound exactly how Ive been feeling this entire week. I thought for sure I was going into labor last night but yet again nothing happened
Ugh! I can see how this would make you guys so much more frustrated than if you were just sailing along with no labor signs! Labor dust to you both!
I am still pregnant and in one way ready not to be anymore and in another way so OK with it being a little while longer. I got super emotional last night about no longer being our little family of 3 anymore. I know that it is going to be wonderful but I can't help mourn over the end of this wonderful thing we have going on right now. I am also getting really nervous about labor and recovery, too!
Yep! No signs of anything happening soon either...but reading all the birth stories on here terrify me just enough to where I'm happy being pregnant until she decides it's time!!!
Yep..... still pregnant. Have another dr. appt today and I don't even know if we will check to see if I have progressed. As of last Wednesday, I was 0 cm and "slightly soft" but my cervix is hiding out behind her head, so no pressure to actually open it up. I have had NO contractions or anything closely related in weeks, so I am pretty sure she's just chilling out in there and she's not coming on her own.
We have a single valve umbilical cord, so if she hasn't come on her own by Sunday, I will be induced on Sunday and hopefully she will arrive sometime Monday. I am a little disappointed to not be prggressing and having any symptoms, but then again, maybe it is a good thig considering some of the frustrations I have heard from you other moms to be out there going through all of the signs to not be moving the process along either....
Some day she will be here! We're so ready to meet her!!!!

This is my 1st baby, so I'm freaking out about the idea that I actually have to be responsible for another human!
I am still pregnant and am really beginning to want Albert here. I really want to see what he looks like; if he has my eyes or dh's. I'd like to see who he looks like; what his personality is and preferences are.
I think a part of it is that I'm finishing up all the little things that need to be done before he's born. Also, I'm tired of brushing counters, walls, and doorways when I move. I have no concept of my dimensions any more. I can't scoot into the dining room table without bumping my belly.
