Ours really are a pain, for everyone who has tried! My parents, guys who I've had to ask for help when I've taken my car in, my husband (who never complains about installing stuff or anything of that manner).
They are the Evenflo Tribute (in my car) and Eddie Bauer something or other in his car.
Any recommendations on good carseats (RF up to a large weight range) that aren't a pain in the butt to install.. or are they just all that way?
Re: Are all carseats a pain to install?
It's a real challange to get it tight enough when installing. Even when my husband bears his weight down on it, it's hard for him. Same for me and everyone else lol. We do end up getting it tight but it's really hard.
Have you change the angle of your tug? (TWSS!) Seriously though, I have to pull the strap at a particular angle, kind of diagonally upward toward the front headrests for it to tighten all the way.
