Tourette's Syndrome

Does anyone have a child with Tourette's syndrome? I am very familiar with it, but was wondering at what age tics were first noticed in a child. I have a 15 month old who recently started head thrusting, and Tourette's does run on my husbands side. Everything I am reading says it typically isn't presented until around 5 to 7 years old. We have the doctor tomorrow, but I'm wondering of it's just a quirky toddler behavior, or could be the beginning of TS.
