  I make him some amigutumy toys,some kind of ball that has different shapes,also he likes to play with his mirrow and a spouns and some plastic container from the kitchen.

  My son has a ball at my moms house she got it sf walmart. It has buttons on it that makes noises and music. It also teaches colors and shapes. It rolls around by itself. He loves it.

  I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the iPlay Flashbeat Drum DD2 is obsessed with it! Now everything is a Drum. My 2.5 yo also loves it!

  My mom just bought us the Leap Frog picnic basket.  It's great!  Lots of things to chew on and the basket plays music.  It can also grow with your LO - they can learn shapes and colors, etc, as they get older.

  Im picking up the leap frog activity table for DD tomorrow. She played with it at a friends place, and loves it! the legs are adjustable, so even tho she can't stand yet, she can still play with it.

  DD (6.5 mo) absolutely loves this "Hey Diddle Diddle" toy she got as a gift. It just plays the song over and over when she pushes the buttons, or you can set it to play animal noises. She gets so tickled at it and just bangs away on the buttons.
