My babies aren't even a week old yet and I already am starting to get a little stir crazy. When did you leave the house in the early weeks and where did you go?
When they were 11 days old we went out to lunch and walked around some shops. We were going mad stir crazy.

4 days doctor, 10 days we went to both our family businesses, 12 days church and today doctor. Tomorrow they will go to open house at dd's school and thursday a stop at my school. We stay pretty busy!
I started going to MoM and BF support groups with them when they were 2w old. People there understood to give the babies space and not be all in their faces.

If memory serves, mine were 10 days old. My suggestion....if you can take someone with you and each wear a baby in a Bjorn (or whatever carrier), that seemed to keep people from touching my babies. I tried putting them in the stroller with the canopies pulled down and people actually pulled the canopy back, even if I said they were asleep and to please not wake them. People just can't keep their hands off twins, be prepared!
We had a lot of medical appointments in the first few weeks - pediatrician, lactation, specialist. We went on our first outing when the boys were a week old, to the local pizza place. We walked and sat outside. My mom and I ended up going to the mall when they were about a week and a half because we didn't have nearly enough newborn clothes. We went to church when the boys were two weeks old exactly. We also did trips to the local park just to enjoy the weather, and to the grocery store for essentials.
Saving money while raising more kids than you bargained for!
my girls were in the NICU the 1st month so I was able to get out a bunch that month but once they were home I made sure to get out even if just to grocery shop or run to get a coffee each day. I was lucky enough to have my family come help out though. My hubby and I also take turns when we're both home and give the other a break. My husband uses the time to go to the gym and usually I would go shopping or meet a girlfriend for lunch/ din, etc...
