I got my new restraint belt for the bumbo. Seems pretty simple... but I also feel a little silly about the whole thing. We obviously never put her on top of anything in it, and never put her in it unattended, but I figured I would rather have the part and decide whether or not to use it.
Anyone else get one or put one on? Have thoughts about the situation - beyond people who put their baby on the kitchen table are a little "touched" as my southern grandma always said.

I didn't get it because he is doing pretty well sitting on his own now, so he doesn't use it much nowadays. But if we have another LO then I want to get this:

Our Bumbo was second hand and is starting to get shabby. This new seat would be a nice replacement.
That is interesting! I read the comments about the larger base and wider leg holes. Sounds like it may be one that can be used for a longer period of a child's life which is nice. I may try to see one in person.
Perhaps my friends who are still researching stuff for their babes would be interested in this instead of my hand me down "Bumbo of Destruction" as my friend jokingly called it when I asked if she wanted me to pass it on to her.

I seriously love this seat^ But on the bumbo note. I think they had it also for the fact that kids were pushing themselves out of it even on the floor and hitting their heads. But if your kid isn't doing that then I wouldn't be too worried.
Oh! That is a lovely seat! Darn! I wish I had brought this up sooner so I could have seen all these cute seats. My bumbos were both hand me downs, so I'm not out anything, but maybe if we do this again I will check this one out. That is definitely multi purpose.
