Changing My Number

I've been debating changing my phone number. The question is, do I have to give SD the new one? Or, can I give him an alternate number where he can leave messages?

    I would say as long as he has one way of reaching you ( ie home phone, email ect) you dont have to give him your new number.  He doesnt need every way of contacting you.  You may want him to have all the numbers though if he has your DS for the day/night.

    I was thinking of a Google talk number I could forward to mine when I needed to. Or possibly a prepaid cell phone.

    I just spoke with my lawyer about this a few weeks ago, I am getting collection calls for the XH, not to mention he only texts or calls occassionally to harrass me and to argue about CS.  She said as long as he had a way to contact me it was ok...and email was an ok option.  He knows where I work and could call there and he has my email address.  (now, he has no visitation, so it would be different if he did, I would want some form of phone number for him to have when he had DD, so then, I would probably opt for a prepaid phone of some kind)
