Okay,
I know we have other fantasy football players so I wanted to get some opinions on who you would draft with the #1 pick.
This the pick I got! The guys I play with are pretty hard-core and my husband is now sending me unsolicited bad advice (he drew the #2 spot). He's pretty ruthless when it comes to our FF league and I can expect a season of bad recommendations of who to play (especially the weeks that I am against him).
Our draft is Sunday - so little time and so much to do!
Re: Fantasy Football Draft Question (So NBR!)
I play in two leagues. I won one year (beginner's luck!). However, Matthew Berry from ESPN is a great resource.

Good luck!
I'm leaning towards Ray Rice over Arian Foster. I think Rice is going to have a huge year.

Aaron Rodgers, hands down.
ETA: Or Arian Foster. Definitely pick a QB or RB first.
In my league, Aaron Rodgers will go in the first round. After that, you can get a pretty high value QB in the first 5 rounds. My DH's attitude on QB's is to get one that will always get you at least 12 points and they are doing your job. I think having a QB that averages 25 is better. Rodgers definitely had an awesome season but I think I could get either Brady or Brees as my 3rd pick. I could still get an elite RB and possible another really good RB or top WR with my 2nd pick but after that . . . I may wait until my 5th pick to grab a QB just to get a couple stronger WRs or an elite TE that scores like a WR.

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:26-27&33-34
We've always done franchise players. I'm keeping Phillip Rivers, AJ Green and Baltimore Def.
If I had to pick my first, without the 3 franchises, I'd probably go Aaron Rodgers. And I agree that Rice should go before Foster.
ooh a little late but I had to chime in! I love FF and am excited for our draft next weekend but still unsure of my picks.
That being said, I am a huge LeSean McCoy fan-- I've had him him the last few years and he inevitably is one of my top scorers. Just a great all around RB.
for QB I'm partial to Brady (I'm from New England) and he's a solid amount of points per week but Aaron Rodgers is going to do well this year too I think.
