It was not much fun but at least it is over and done and results were great! I think the worst part was all the blood draws as I have horrible veins! At least I got a really nice lab lady who used a tiny needle. Now my arms and hands just look like I'm a junkie.

I failed my 1 hour test last Wednesday and am taking the 3 hour test this Friday...until then I have to eat 150 grams of carbs a day and fast for 8 hours before the first blood test...not looking forward to it and hoping I don't feel gross!!
Congrats to all who passed the 3 hour test, I hope I pass too!
N14 November Siggy Challenge - Celebration
Thanks ladies. It feels good to know I passed, even though I was pretty sure I didn't have GD. My numbers were way under the cut offs this time. For this one I had to fast for 12 hours, water only. Then had blood drawn base line, drank the drink that has way more sugar than the 1 hour, then had blood drawn at 1, 2, and 3 hours post drink. I felt really yucky for the first hour, but it got better after that. Drink water during the test helped a lot, so if your OB allows it I highly recommend it.
To those of you that still have to take it, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. If my veins would have cooperated, it would have been a piece of cake.
