I'm finding it hard to really think about what to put in my hospital bag. Coach is supposed to bring a few things. Right now in my bag, I have this:
3 receiving blankets, pair of socks, going home outfit, chapstick, and exercise ball for labor
Why in the world am I finding this so difficult?
Re: What's in YOUR bag?
Slippers
Outfit for me to go home
2 diff sized outfits for baby to go home
Snacks/bottled water
Camera with charger
Phone charger
I forget if there is anything else, but I'm bringing one of my pillows, too. The hospital supplies me with mostly everything I will need.
I have two nursing tanks, two bras, my own toiletries, underwear and pads (I personally hated the mesh undies and pads), camera/charger, phone charger, a few of the empty tote grocery bags (for all the extras they load you up with) and a few nutrigrain bars. For baby- nail file (hospital won't cut nails for you), going home outfit, wipes (they only have gauze). There is a fully stocked diaper bag that will stay in the car.
I WAY overpacked with my first. And If I decide I need something or DH needs something we live 5 minutes from the hospital.
Going home outfit for baby, nursing bra, nursing tanks, a pair of shorts, capri lounge pants, toiletries for me, camera and cord, phone charger. I've been putting my laptop in there every morning and bringing my bag with to work.
I think I might add some snacks to my bag too.
I would tell except that at 40w4d, I still haven't packed one.
Oops.
