I ask this because of how bloated I have been I didnt want to spend more money on another pair of Jeans that wont fit in this next month, So during shopping on Black Friday we were shopping in delaware outlets and came across a maternity shop. My MIL insisted we stop in to look.
I wound up buying a pair of maternity jeans and a really really cute shirt that will perfectly hide anything for the holidays!
MIL insisted she pay for my first outfit so I wasnt going to argue with her.
I am wearing them today and they are SOOOOOO comfortable. Much better than squeezing into a pair of tight jeans.
Once the bloat goes down I am sure Ill go back to my jeans but When do you plan on shopping?
Re: When did you, or when will you buy your first maternity outfit?

I'm wearing a bella band today. These pants were on the snug side before pregnancy. Now? Forget it. No way they are closing!

I haven't gone shopping yet for maternity clothes. I have one pair of work pants that I can still button and my jeans are still fitting ok if I use a hairband around the button. I'm so small that I don't think maternity pants will fit in the butt and thighs.
I did get a couple of hand me down shirts from a friend today and they are really cute!
I did the exact same thing! Summer stuff is also cheap online at motherhood maternity.
I'm only 7 weeks and have started wearing a bella band just for the bloat. It's AWESOME with jeans. Who knew such a small piece of fabric could make such a huge difference!
With DS I was in maternity around 12 weeks. This time, it's going to be sooner. My bloat is TERRIBLE this time. I don't want to tell work yet though so I am holding out until at least after Christmas. I live in my yoga pants at home.
Buying regular pants one size up isn't a bad idea. Those came in handy during the transition from maternity clothes back to reg clothes after the baby was born.
