My dh is a ridiculous person. We are good friends with dh's cousin and wife. They are both pretty athletic people who go to the gym and play sports and all that jazz (I am obviously NOT athletic). They were talking about doing a 5k fun run. Dh starts talking about how he's a natural athlete and he could totally do it with them. He hasn't run in over 5 yrs. When he goes for walks with me he starts complaining within 2 blocks that his legs hurt. I jokingly bet him $50 that he couldn't run a whole 5k, especially considering it also included obstacles (rope climbs, running with logs, going through the river, etc), I mean, he hasn't worked out in years. So he takes it as a serious challenge and signs up for the run. He does't run or even go for a walk once in the week before the run and drinks the night before he has to do it. So I expect to get a pic from his cousin of him dead on the course. No. He beats them both, the wife by 15 mins and his cousin by 20 mins. He comes in the front of the pack. I want to kill him.

Dh doesnt know how to proper express emotions either its too much or too little.
When we lost the babes he was a mess and drank like a fish, I was the one who had to be strong. Now he has "grieved" and is back to being himself but I am not. SO I may have snapped/cried in a ball last week and he basically told me to get over it. That since I had gotten my tattoo that meant I should be ok with it, In my defense I have accepted it but Im still sad.
Background: Andrew is a horrible sleeper and has been even worse lately but we decided not to do CIO for several reasons.
Last night I went to bed before DH. Around midnight I woke up to the worst cry ever, I seriously thought someone was harming DS. I jumped out of bed and see DH sitting on the couch watching tv. He has shut the door to the babies room and left him crying. I got him and he passed out in my arms. He was hoarse, hiccuping and red from crying so hard.
Needless to say, we had it out this morning.
Just out of curiosity....did he give you a reason why he did that!? Not that there could be a good one, but I am just curious!
I think he had just lost patience. For some reason, he has a harder time getting him back down then me in the middle of the night so he had been trying for a while and it just wasn't working. Like you said, no good excuse! I chewed him out and said he better wake me up before ever doing it again.
Guess what went out last night? The A/C. In south Texas it isn't optional. He had the audacity to tell me to stop being so bitchy. It was 85 degrees in the house all night and now we have to spend 6000 on a new A/C. We literally just paid off our credit card last week and were looking forward to paying off my car in a few months with the extra money. Now that won't happen.
