Is it lame to make my parents and ILs each a shutterfly photobook of Tatum's first year pictures for her first birthday? Should I save something like that until Christmas?
I like the idea of making one for myself each year at her birthday, so I thought I would get them for her grandparents, too. But I wasn't sure if I should wait to give it to them until Christmas. I probably won't finish and order it until after her birthday, so I can have at least one "birthday" picture in there, so I wouldn't be giving it to them "for" her birthday, you know?
WDYT?
(Oh, and this is a post and run for now, because I have to get to a meeting. I'll be back later . . .)

"What did my fingers do before they held you? What did my heart do with it's love?"
I originally planned to do one each year around his bday. But by Christmas they were begging for something to show friends so I did one at Christmas.
I'm going to stick with Christmas so when more children are added I can be consistant. It'll just be Grandma's annual photo book vs. This Child's 2nd Year type thing you know?
This is a really good point. I think I will probably do them now, as Tatum's first year, but then save them for Christmas gifts.
My SIL has been making my mom a Shutterfly calendar for her office every Christmas since my nephew was born 7 years ago. Last year she added a few pictures of Tatum to the calendar, and I assume she will keep doing the same. I want to just make a book of Tatum pictures, though, so I don't think I'm biting on my SIL's gift, right? And I'm just making a little 4x6 booklet, nothing huge.
