Bouncer, Rocker or Both

Hey Guys,

I'm a FTM (the baby is due in November) and I already have a swing. I'm debating if I need both a bouncer and a rocker as well or just one over the other. Both the bouncer and rocker on my registry vibrate. The rocker is cheaper and I like that I can get more use out of it. Can I get away with just a rocker and no bouncer? Or would you recommend a bouncer over a rocker?

    FWIW - we loved the bouncer and never had a rocker though if something does both why not combine and save your space and $$.  Our LO hated the swing but loved the bouncy seat.  Truth is no way to know until they get here so finding gently used items or having a way to selll / return them if you don't want or cant use is key

    With the swing we had a bouncer. DS loved his bouncer. He used that for a while and thought it was fun to make it bounce himself.

    I have a swing and bouncer.  Both get used a lot around here!  I like the bouncer because i can take it with me from room to room.

    Same here...I use them all.  The bouncer he didn't really use until recently (4 months) but he loves it.

    I vote for bouncer all the way. We have this one which supposedly is the only one that actually bounces. You turn it on and it kinda moves softly up and down. The music is nice too.

    Any recommendations on bouncers?
    I was only going to get a swing but have heard from several people that say we also need a bouncer.

    The Fisher Price bouncers are pretty popular. Many claim that their babes loved the colorful more stimulating ones like the FP Rainforest bouncer. We never had a colorful bouncer per say, but I hung colorful toys from the arch and he likes it just the same :) We have an older model Bright Starts from my firstborn.
