I think I'm going to get one done for my birthday - I'll be 30 weeks. It's a little pricey over here, anywhere from 120$ to 150$ but they give you like 20 photos, a CD with the photos, and a 15-30 minute session. I've used the company before, the u/s tech owns the place, and they're awesome. I've seen lots of 3D/4D photos and honestly.. I don't see how people think they can see anything in them. Whereas this place has amazing equipment apparently, because the photos are so clear. To me, it's a one of a kind thing. You can get 2D photos, you can take photos of your baby after it's born, but you won't ever get anymore photos of them playing around in your uterus - bonjour, cutie.

We got one done for DS1 and will be doing one next weekend for this LO as well. DH was deployed the entire pregnancy last time, so it was neat for him to be able to see pictures of an ultrasound and a video since he missed the A/S and everything. We also liked being able to compare the pictures of the 3D to his newborn pictures. It is a little pricey ($140 for 30 min, CD, and DVD) but worth it!
With DS we purchased a package where we went at 27 wks again T 32 wks. This time we are only doing the 27 wk 3D/4D and it's next Sunday. I can't wait to compare pics :
I've always planned to get one. My sonographer offers a 25% discount for return visits but I lucked out and found a groupon for 50% off. I think it's so neat to see his sweet little face months before I can hold him in my arms
Please pardon any typos -- I'm typically bumping from my phone V|V TSP V|V
