She is in L&D being monitored overnight due to a 7cm SCH. So far cervix looks long and closed, so they are pleased with that. She's also having some irregular contractions, but they are not too concerned with that. They are going to do an u/s with the high risk Dr. in the morning.
Let's send her some T&P and happy thoughts.
I'll update as I get more info.
Thanks ladies!

Will be thinking of her today!! FX for a cooked turkey baby
Sorry to hear this. To offer some comfort. I had a 7x2.9x2.3 cm SCH at 14.5w and by my a/s at just shy of 19w it was gone. I had bleeding at 14.5 (gushing red flow), 15.5 (brown spotting) and 20w (gushing red flow). Baby was quite content with each scare. I totally understand the anxiety involved with a large SCH, but I was told with a strong hb and good fetal movement, that the risk of loss is around 3% (told by the ER doc and confirmed by my OB). I know that is still higher than any of us would like, but realistically, it is never 0.
I'm sure they will tell her to take it easy and may schedule a followup u/s in a few weeks to ensure that the SCH is shrinking. It can take a long time for one that big to go away. No lifting, no vaccuuming, no pushing a full grocery cart, no reaching for something on the top shelf of the cupboard. A lot of resting with her feet up is what 3lilbirds should be doing.
