This is my third pregnancy... with my 1st & 2nd pregnancy I went into labor at 18 wks. I delivered my 1st at 34 1/2 wks and I delivered my 2nd at 37. The drugs that were used back then (my kids are 10 & 11) are no longer being used for pre-term labor. Now they are using Makena which is a form of progesterone that is injected weekly starting at 16 wks to prevent instead of treating after pre-term labor starts. I was already scheduled to start the injections at 16 wks. but started having mild contractions a wk ago so I started early.
I there anyone else in this same situation or will be starting them at 16 wks?
