DD is 9 1/2 months old and she is a very happy baby. Usually she STTN unless something's going on i.e. teething, late bedtime, ill, etc, and she generally falls asleep within 1/2 hr of bedtime (PJ's, bottle feed, rock, sing). We have had some rough nights too.
Anyway....we are TTC for #2 now and I want DD to be able to go to sleep on her own if possible when the new baby arrives. I've been considering sleep training (not sure what method) but haven't yet followed through since things are OK right now. I just don't want to wait too long and have it be a disaster later on....
Any thoughts? Sleep train now or later when needed? TIA!

I'm sorry but what is the problem with your baby's sleep?
If you don't want to keep rocking her down, you can start trying to put her down more and more awake, but I'd take it really slow.
But really, your baby will be so different by the time the newborn comes around. I really wouldn't worry about it. She sounds like an excellent sleeper!
