I had another monitoring appt for my FET this morning. Keep in mind that my tentative transfer date was today. My lining is 6.5 mm and my RE wants a minimum of 7 mm. So, now I go back on Wednesday and will hopefully start PIO for an 8/26 transfer. So, here's the catch. I'm an idiot and thought a trip to Vienna would be a nice distraction after the transfer. My flight is 8/28. I'm cutting it way too close for comfort. Hopefully my lining will look good on Wednesday but if not what would you do? Cancel the cycle? Cancel the trip? Or go ahead with the transfer knowing my chances are lower? My RE said he would normally cancel at that point but since I have 14 frosties he's leaning towards going ahead. Thoughts? Why, why why did I plan this stupid trip? It seemed like such a good idea at the time.
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!
IVF March 2012 - BFP! - Severe OHSS = 8 days in the hospital in kidney failure
No heartbeat at 10w6d
FET August 27,2012 = BFP!

I would go with what W.itz says. Only reason I would cancel is it might but make your trip not as enjoyable.
Vienna would be so fun...have a great time!!
I am AMA and all tests on H came back normal
3 failed IVF with OE and 2 failed frozen DE cycles
Last fresh hail mary DE cycle starting Feb 2013
PAIF/SAIF always welcome

The FET is definitely the priority. I completely trust him but I hate to transfer under less than ideal circumstances. It's $4K, you know? Is 6.5 really that much different than 7? I don't want to google it because I will end up driving myself crazy.
I assumed I would know if FET worked right before my trip. I knew I'd be excited if it worked or drowning my sorrows on wine tours if it didn't. I'm just praying that everything looks great next week but who knows. I've never had lining issues.

I'm doing 2 per day orally, 2 vaginally, and the Vivelle. Because they were frozen on day 5 I have to do PIO for 5 days, I think.
How many days did you end up doing Estrace?

That is sooo frustrating! No great wisdom here, but I hope it will reach 7mm ASAP so it will be a moot point. I always struggle with not letting IF take over my life and my plans vs. not compromising my cycles...it is hard!

No experience or insight to offer, but really wishing that you didn't have to face the contemplation of such decisions! Hoping that your lining cooperates and the decision-making goes out the window. Keeping my FX for you and sending lots of plump-lining vibes your way!

I would want my lining at a 7, but u have a bit to get there. Mine jumps fast, so it can happen.
I would cancel vs transfer if the lining is not there. But if u get to 7, I would do it.
