Hate these paper "gowns"!

Im at my doc appt. It is just supposed to be a pg confirmation appt, but for some reason I'm getting examined as well. I didn't expect to, but I got "prepared" just in case! ;

    I didn't have to be examined and my pg confirmation appt. Every Dr. is different though. I agree the gowns are no fun!

    Started TTC July 2012. Missed m/c & d&c 9/12 11w. Natural m/c 1/13 6w. Chemical pgs 3/13 & 8/13 around 4w. Currently TTA while saving for adoption.

    I hate the paper gowns.  I always manage to somehow rip them in inappropriate places before the doc comes in.

    PCOS @18 #1-simple :) MET= success #2-Met+clomid 50 (for 3 cycles). Success 3rd cycle #3 Met+clomid 100 (2 cycles)= SUCCESS!! turned into BABY #3 and #4(twins) one missing on 11/10/10; 2/12/11 Baby boy Giovanni born sleeping at 21 weeks #4 09/2011-PG OCT 2011 D&E due to partial molar PG 7/2012 ovulated 7/25/12 positive dollar tree test on 8/ 7 and 8/8 but trout they were defective way to early!     Since our first appt is at 8 weeks they told me to expect a full exam and blood panel.

    Question is do they have some stupid poster above the table for you to stare at?    I told my doc they need to get TV's installed up there.

    So funny story, one time the nurse accidentally gave me a paper pillowcase instead of the sheet. I improvised by ripping the seam and making into a really small sheet. :)

    I think he just did it because I was due for a pap anyway. I go back in 2 weeks 7weeks for an ultrasound!!

    My Dr has fabric ones, and my OB does too. I don't think I've ever had to use a paper one, and I am NOT complaining.

    The paper ones are the worst! At my 6 week PP checkup for DD, I got a letdown while waiting on the doctor to come in. I had completely soaked the gown to the point that it was disintegrating from my milk. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!
