Good morning and Good Monday everybody! Today starts our 11.5 week long weightloss (or tone-up) challenge. To start things off, maybe we can share what our goals are or what we hope to achieve between now and Nov 1. I'll go first!
I would like to be down 12lbs by then. That will put me at 5lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight (another 20lbs after that would be nice eventually, but 12 for now). I'll be watching my calories, probably using loseit.com, and I'm going to start running again - 3x/week. Oh, and I need to start drinking more water. I am really bad at that!
Good luck ladies!
Re: Biggest Loser Week #1!
Goals this week:
Goal by November 1st:
Goal by July 25, 2013 (my 30th birthday):
Good luck this week, ladies! My favorite words for weight loss: Forgive Yourself! It didn't get put on in one day, it won't come off easy either.
My goal is to lose 25 pounds the baby weight I am still carrying around
I am really overweight so i am hoping this will get me going so that i can eventually lose around one hundred pounds.
I downloaded the fitness tracker app to track my calories and exercise, bought a scale havent had one in ages and I am ready to so this.
I started some little goals almost a month ago and those have helped me lose 3lbs. I quit fast food and reduced my soda intake to 2 times per week. All I want is McD's fries though, I'm pretty sure they put crack in the fry grease!
I'd like to be down an additional 15lbs by Nov. 1st. This will put me down to my pre-DD1 weight. After that I'd like to lose another 30-40lbs. I need to start walking more. I know from previous weight loss journeys that I need exercise to lose. My goal is to walk at minimum 30 minutes/day.
my read shelf:
Whoo hoo! I'm as pumped as I can be about eating better and having to exercise
My Goal this week - Work out at least 3 times, start incorporating more fruits and veggies into my diet
Goal for Nov 1st - Lose 10 lbs, 5 below my pre-pregnancy weight. And tone up! I want to be able to run with DS by the time it's cool enough for us to go on jogs together after work!
Best of luck everyone! We can totally do this!
My goal this week: Don't eat all the crap in the teacher's lounge that the admin is providing for us for "Welcome Back" week. It will be hard because I'm a sucker for store bought sheet cake.
My November goal: Lose the last 10 pounds to get to my goal. I'm a Weight Watchers member so I follow their program. I'd also like to try to find a way to work out while going back to work without feeling guilty for leaving DD at the sitter's for an extra hour.
My goal this week - stop eating so much sugar. I need to cut back on the sweets. It's hard because it's the one thing I go for when I'm hungry... so, I need to plan more snacks.
November 1 goal - lose 10 lbs. I know I can do it. I have to be consistent and stick with it. I am starting to track what I eat... everything I eat. And be honest about it too. I'm even going to track things I share with DD. This morning I ate yogurt and a banana and she ate half the banana and a few bites of yogurt... I still tracked 100% of it all. Hoping those few bites I'm not getting help!
Goal this week: Do physical activity every day and no eating after 8 PM. Nighttime eating is my downfall!
Nov 1st Goal: Fit into pre pregnancy jeans. Not just be able to button them, but to fit into them with no muffin top!
Wow, Ladies! You've got me pumped up already!
My weight loss goal for Nov. 1st is.....20 lbs! I know it's a lot, but if I don't aim high I won't reach for it. I lost 20 before I got pregnant with DS, so I know I can do it. I have 2 new obsticles since that time; BFing and no gym membership. So I can't rely on my former supplements for help with this.
My total weight loss goal is 51 lbs by my 30th b-day (next July) - I see I have a birthday buddy
This week I will be going on long walks; when you're fat, it hurts to run. So I need to loose weight to run. How sad is that?! I will also aim to eat every meal at home. This is my down fall.
I'm currently taking an Omega 3-6-9 supplement and I'm having wonderful results with it. For anyone else who might be interested in taking some, it has decreased my appetite, increased my energy, decreased my stress and tiredness, and increased my libido. I'm loving it so far!
GL everyone!
I want in!
Goal this week: Cut out a big chunk of my refined sugars, eat more fruits and veggies and walk 30 minutes at least 4 times this week.
November 1st Goal: Running for exercise, be down 15 pounds and eating healthy foods.
Nov goal:
I want to fit into my pants. I'm not worried about lbs. I want to feel good and fit into a size 8/10. Right now everything is tight and I feel heavy and unhealthy. So by nov we'll see what happens. Wish me luck!
yes! When's your birthday??
The 15th. When is yours?
The 25th. Love it!
Nov. Goal- Lose 10 lbs/tone belly
I'm going to work on:
-Drinking more water
-Taking longer, more frequent walks with LO.
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
Goals for this week:
Drink more water
Cut back on sugar
Walk at least 5 miles 3x
Add in 15 minute core workout 3x
Goals for November:
Continue with more water and less sugar
Walk more times and longer distances
Continue core workout at least 3x a week
Lose the belly!
Good luck everyone!
Just saw this and would love to join in! My DH and I just signed up for a 5k in November which is a walk/ jog easy beginner course.I have also started following weight watchers!
Goals: Complete the 5k with at least 1/2 jogging. Exercise 3x a week and keep following weight watchers. I am at my pre-pregnancy weight, but have a lot more to go to get where I really need to be.
Goals for the week:
Work out 3x
Be more consistent with tracking my food (I use myfitnesspal.com)
Goal by Oct. 20th (my 30th bday...close enough to Nov. 1 I guess):
Lose the last 9 lbs that will put me in my healthy range. Then I'd like another 10-15 on top of that. We'll see though!
Can I join too?
I am about 50 lbs overweight total. I was already overweight when I got pregnant, didn't put on a lot of weight while I was pregnant, but have gained some since DS was born.
Goal this week: Go to a kickboxing class at the gym
Drink more water
Do a workout at home everyday
Goal by November 1st: Lose 10 lbs (I will be done with breastfeeding Nov 5 on DS' birthday, so I'll be able to really cut my calories and burn extra calories)
Our LO's have the same Birthday!
Fun! He was originally due 12/17 but decided he needed to come 6 weeks early. Scary first couple of days, but he's healthy and happy now!
Wow! I bet that was scary, but so glad he's healthy! DD was due 11/8.
